Dextr is a personal CRM for iPhone, iPad and Mac, published by Hidden Spectrum, LLC. Instead of replacing the address book, it builds on the contacts already on the device: custom tags and groups, defined relationships between people, notes on how and where you first met, places and events, follow-up reminders and a visual social graph.
Privacy is a product decision rather than a footnote. Dextr data stays on the user’s devices and is backed up and synced through the user’s own iCloud account. The app requires only the Contacts permission and syncs bidirectionally with iOS Contacts, so nothing is locked inside it.
The app launched in public beta as “People” in January 2025, shipped on the App Store in March 2025 and grew through 2026 into a cross-platform product: an on-device business-card scanner and Siri Shortcuts, Dextr Unplug event discovery, Home Screen widgets and Lock Screen controls, and in August 2026 a native Mac app sharing the same data through iCloud.
