02 / CAPABILITY

One team. From interface to infrastructure.

  1. Landing pageOne page, measured for speed, accessibility and search.
  2. ApplicationAccounts, data, workflows and billing behind the interface.
  3. InfrastructureEdge deployment, storage, queues and monitoring.
  4. ScaleTraffic, integrations, permissions and support as the business grows.

Palfora takes responsibility for strategy, architecture, UX, application development, integrations, deployment, payments, security and ongoing engineering, so the interface, the application and the infrastructure behind it are designed by the same people.

03 / SELECTED WORK

Selected work

W-01

Dextr

Personal CRM · iPhone, iPad and Mac

  • Native iOS & macOS
  • Swift
  • iCloud sync
  • On-device intelligence

Dextr layers tags, relationships, first-met context, reminders and a social graph on top of the contacts already on an iPhone. Data stays on the device and syncs through the user’s own iCloud, and a native Mac app joined iPhone and iPad in 2026.

PaymentPop AI

AI statement analyzer · Web application

  • React application
  • AI-assisted analysis
  • Stripe checkout
  • Accounts & auth

A web application where a business uploads a card-processing statement and receives an automated audit: pricing model, effective rate, network charges checked against current rate schedules, and the fees worth challenging. Accounts, saved reports and Stripe checkout for the full report.

Valfolio

Trading analytics · Web application

  • Next.js
  • Fintech data
  • Brokerage sync
  • Stripe subscriptions

Valfolio pulls trades from multiple brokerages into one ledger, tags them into strategy baskets and reports realised and after-tax performance, options income and wash-sale alerts. Read-only brokerage connections, passkeys and two-factor sign-in, Stripe billing.

04 / ENGINEERING

Complex behind the scenes. Simple where it matters.

Web and application development, e-commerce included.

Landing pages, marketing sites, storefronts and multi-tenant applications, built by one team that owns the interface, the application layer and the deployment behind it. E-commerce is treated as a system: catalog, checkout and the payment plumbing designed together.

  • L-01 User experience
  • L-02 Application
  • L-03 Data

Native software for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Swift applications that share one data layer with the web platform, so accounts, sync and billing behave the same on every screen. iCloud sync, widgets, Shortcuts and App Store subscriptions are part of the build, not an afterthought.

  • L-01 User experience
  • L-02 Application
  • L-03 Data

Payments, from the integration to the rate.

Processor integrations, tokenization, webhooks and reconciliation, designed with PCI scope in mind from the first diagram. The same people read the merchant statement, evaluate processors and negotiate the terms, so the implementation and the commercial side agree.

  • L-04 Payments
  • L-05 Security
  • L-03 Data

Infrastructure that stays up, security done while building.

Cloudflare edge deployment, cloud and application architecture, and the security work that happens as part of building: secrets, least privilege, dependency hygiene and sensible defaults on every endpoint. Existing systems get a review and a prioritised plan, with or without us.

05 / SCALE

From one page to the entire platform.

  1. Landing pageOne page. Measured, fast, accessible.
  2. Marketing sitePages, content, search and forms.
  3. E-commerceCatalog, checkout, payments, fulfilment.
  4. Web applicationAccounts, data, workflows, billing.
  5. Native appiPhone, iPad and Mac, sharing the platform.
  6. Enterprise platformIntegrations, permissions, scale, support.

The size of the project changes. The engineering standard doesn’t.

06 / PAYMENTS

Payments are infrastructure. Treat them that way.

Where card data flows, which processor you use and how refunds reconcile are decided long before the checkout page is designed. Palfora handles the integration and the commercial side, from processor evaluation to negotiating the rate itself, with PCI scope in mind from the first diagram.

07 / PROCESS

Six steps. Working software at each one.

  1. Understand

Business model, requirements, constraints and the systems you already run.

  2. Architect

The stack, integrations, data model and deployment strategy, chosen for the problem rather than by habit.

  3. Build

Iterative development with working software at every step, not a reveal at the end.

  4. Harden

Performance, responsive behaviour, security, accessibility and the edge cases that show up in production.

  5. Deploy

Production deployment and infrastructure configuration, with monitoring in place before launch.

  6. Evolve

Continue improving the system as requirements, traffic and the business grow.
