PaymentPop is an independent publisher covering the payment-processing industry. Founded by Phillip Parker as CardPaymentOptions.com and rebranded in 2026, it publishes processor review profiles built around verified merchant reports, rate and fee tables, recent rate changes, lawsuit and regulatory history and company contacts.
Around the reviews sits a set of tools: processing cost calculators for nineteen providers, a cost-rankings engine that estimates monthly cost and effective rate from a business’s industry, volume, average sale and channel mix, a processor-picker questionnaire, an interactive U.S. payments data section built on Federal Reserve and Census figures, and an archive of processor executive profiles.
The site runs on WordPress with a custom theme built on Tailwind CSS, fronted by Cloudflare, with Turnstile on forms, structured data on review pages and a redirect map that carries legacy CardPaymentOptions.com URLs to their new homes.
